Happy new year!
If you’re anything like the most of us, you’ve probably told your yourself and maybe even others, that you’ll start your new healthy habit in the new year. Or by Monday. Or next month.
Yes, you’re biased and you convince yourself that you’ll have more time in the future, than you have now. But frankly my dear, you won’t.
Unless you do a radical change to youreveryday life, your work, kids, friends, hobbies and interests will take just as much of your time in the future, as it does now.
So, if you want to get that meditation practice going anytime soon, you have to prioritise it.
The good news is, that you don’t have to set aside an hour every day. Not even half of that.
Now, we at OliOli will never tell you that meditation is a quick fix. That is something you can just use as you like and then move on with your busy day.
No no no no no… Meditation is a practice. And we’re here to help you build that practice. And if that means starting small, then that’s what we’ll do.
Doing a short meditation is better than not doing any meditation. And if you come back to it a few times, you’ll be ready for longer meditations sooner than you think. Day by day, you’ll create your meditation practice. Rome wasn’t build in a day you know…
Let’s make it really easy for you.
With this short guided meditation from Carley Hauck all you have to do is:
- Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
- Roll your neck and shoulders a few times, and then relax them.
- Take three deep breaths on the count of ten.
- Press play.
